Stuyts Accounting Services - Accounting - Welkom

Stuyts Accounting Services has been providing a highly valued total package to the business community since 1984. As chartered accountants and fully-qualified tax consultants (I.A.B.), the quality of all our fiscal and financial interventions is guaranteed. We offer our customers the option to have all their bookkeeping activities completed by our office, but are also available to provide advice and other external services to companies which have their own accounts department. All matters relating to taxation are handled with the utmost professionalism. The offering of advice on company tax, income tax, VAT, succession tax and registration fees are numbered amongst our core tasks, as is the provision of assistance during fiscal inspections and other administrative procedures.
In addition to this strong focus on accountancy and fiscal matters, Stuyts Accounting Services are ideally placed to act as your financial adviser and take-over consultant: credit applications and negotiations with financial institutions, economic analyses, cash-flow planning, liquidity planning, feasibility studies, valuations, etc. are just some of the services we are able to offer.

ACCOUNTANTS – TAX CONSULTANTS (I.A.B.)

An introduction to Stuyts Accounting Services

Stuyts is a dynamic, medium-sized accountancy office, which has been catering to the financial needs of business professionals and small and medium sized companies since 1984. As chartered accountants and fully-qualified tax consultants (I.A.B.), the quality of all our fiscal and financial interventions is guaranteed.

In the constantly changing economic world of today, good financial advice can be of crucial importance to your company.  The establishing of a trusting relationship and a correct flow of information between the company and the adviser is central to the success of this partnership. For this reason, short lines of communication and an open, frank approach lay at the basis of all our contacts with our clients.  With a practical, no-nonsense approach, our team will seek to serve our customers in the best possible manner.

In order to remain as close as possible to our customers, to think pro-actively about your problems and to provide you with a true made-to-measure service, your interests will be monitored and protected by a permanent contact person, who is familiar with your organisation.

We offer customers the option to have their bookkeeping activities completed by our office, but are also available to provide advice and other external services to companies which have their own accounts department.  Our aim is to organise the company’s accounts in a manner which not only allows full and easy compliance with all legal obligations, but also provides management with a source of useful information and a key instrument of policy.

As part of our accounts monitoring/processing package, we will compile regular reports with comments and suggestions designed to improve the future operation of your company’s financial management systems.  At the end of the financial year we will draw up a comprehensive set of balances, containing a wide range of fiscal and economic data.  In the course of the financial year we will also provide regular summaries of the current situation, reflecting both the fiscal and economic needs of the client company.

The objective of our office is to offer guidance and support to our customers throughout the full course of the company life-cycle. We will seek to think actively with the customer about the long-term interests of the company, which might perhaps be best served by a restructuring exercise or a conversion into a corporation or a holding.  We can also help by providing profit simulations, economic analyses, cash-flow planning, liquidity planning, feasibility studies, fiscal optimisation , succession planning, subsidy applications, investment advice, credit negotiations, legal assistance with contracts, etc.  These are just a few of the many elements in our all-in service.

The continual training and re-training of our team is one of our highest priorities, allowing us to keep abreast of all the most recent developments in tax and company law. A good library of professional literature, access to all the most important fiscal databases, our own website, our good name and reputation with official organisations: all these valuable tools are put at the full disposal of our customers.  It also goes without saying that we are committed to the very highest standards of business ethics.

The coach, Mr. Kris Jonckheere, is the manager and sole partner in the company.  He was born in Torhout, where he still lives.  After completing his studies in Bookkeeping, later supplemented with Accountancy, in 1988 he started work at the office of Stuyts Accounting Services in Bredene. In 1994, his boss Koenraad Stuyts opted for an unexpected career move and Kris Jonckheere took over the accountancy office on the coast. During the summer of 1999 he moved his operational base to the Koningin Astridlaan in Sint-Michiels, a suburb of the city of Bruges.  In so doing, he went against the then current trend, which saw many companies relocating away from Bruges towards the conurbations of Roeselare, Kortrijk and Ghent (often as a result of take-overs or upsizing). The young Stuyts team has continued to achieve a growth of 15 - 20% each year, but does not intend to allow itself to be ‘swallowed’ by one of the ‘big fish’ in the sector.  It is the coach’s ambition to further develop an independent accounting office, which will distinguish itself from the competition by its unrivalled levels of commitment and excellence.
